Pokhara is so quiet and laid back the town has an almost dreamlike quality which makes it an excellent place to spend a few days and relax. |

It lines the banks of Lake Phewa Tal, the second largest lake in Nepal. |

| Shops, restaraunts and bars line the side of the lake. |

Boating is a popular pastime and it's worth hiring one out to spend some time on the lake. |

The view over the Annapurnas at dawn is quite spectacular but would have been better if there had been less cloud in the way. |
