Pokhara

		Pokhara is so quiet and laid back the town has an almost dreamlike quality which makes it an excellent place to spend a few days and relax.

It lines the banks of Lake Phewa Tal, the second largest lake in Nepal.

Shops, restaraunts and bars line the side of the lake.

Boating is a popular pastime and it's worth hiring one out to spend some time on the lake.

Walking around the lake is another pleasant way to spend a few hours.

		The view over the Annapurnas at dawn is quite spectacular but would have been better if there had been less cloud in the way.

The walk back was excellent with beautiful scenery all the way down.

The road towards Kathmandu winds it's way West for 200 Km and follows river valleys most of it's way.

This is place we chose to stop for our lunch.

We had passed many other bridges like this on our way.

These children are enjoying some white water rafting using an inner tube to stay afloat.
